1How Can You Tell if Stainless Steel is Good Quality?
Stainless steel is essentially a low carbon steel which contains chromium at 10% or more by weight. It is this addition of chromium that gives the steel its unique stainless, corrosion resisting properties. There are three main types of structures in stainless steel — austenite, ferrite, and martensite. When you see stainless steel labeled as 18/8 or 18/10 this is telling you how much chromium and nickel is in the steel. The first number indicates 18% chromium, and the second 8% or 10% nickel. The nickel is the key to forming austenite stainless steel. Both the 18/8 and 18/10 are therefore austenitic. All T304 sinks made with 18/10 combination. Which is why you can trust Pozzo sinks that never get corrosion.
2What is T304 stainless steel?
One of the most widely used and oldest of the stainless steels. This was originally called 18-8 which stood for its chromium and nickel content. It possesses an excellent combination of strength, corrosion resistance and fabricability. 304 stainless steel can be produced at different carbon levels - T304L (low carbon), T304 & T304H (high carbon). Carbon makes the steel stronger but also makes it less ductile. T304 is ideal for sink applications since it balances strength & corrosion resistance with machinability.
3What does the limited lifetime warranty cover?
All Pozzo sinks are guaranteed for craftsmanship & material defects over the life of the product. We also have a 5 year warranty on faucets.
4What is your return policy?
Undamaged products in original packaging maybe returned for a full refund within 30 days of the purchase. Buyer pays return shipping. After 30 days, a restocking fee of 20% will apply. Returns will not be accepted after 3 months have lapsed from purchase.
